Animoca Brands has formed a collaboration with Polygon Labs and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch the MoonRealm Express Accelerator. The innovative initiative is designed to help stimulate the development of Web3 solutions and products in various emerging fields.
Boosting Growth In Decentralized Identity, GameFi, and SocialFi
MoonRealm Express Accelerator is an important part of the firm’s Mocaverse project. It strives to support global builders in emerging industries like SocialFi, decentralized identity, and GameFi by offering vital resources. The accelerator seems committed to assisting the builders from the early stages of concept development to the real-world application of their ideas.
The MoonRealm Express Accelerator provides many valuable resources for the growth of Web3 startups in their development cycle. Interestingly, the resources include Web3 masterclasses to educate builders, incubation programs for projects with high potential, and builder-centric hackathons for the hands-on experience.
Expanding The Mocaverse Network
The executive chair and co-founder of Animoca Brands, Yat Sui, shared the mission of Mocaverse: to aggregate, connect, and expand the Animoca Brands network, eventually building the biggest Web3 ecosystem in entertainment and culture. The MoonRealm program will at first focus on strengthening the Mocaverse ecosystem, specifically around the recently launched Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain.
The inaugural cohort of the MoonRealm Express Accelerator will focus on creating and extending Mocaverse’s expanding ecosystem, centering primarily around the recent launch of Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain.
This program’s first hackathon will be introduced in early 2024 and will task the builders and projects to devise protocols that use and grow the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem, and that incorporate Realm Points as integral assets.
Key hackathon tracks will include Web3 Social, Web3 Identity, and Web3 Growth, to elevate Mocaverse as the premier platform for Web3 loyalty programs.
The vision will be realized eventually by building on the synergies of AWS’s robust capabilities, Animoca Brands’ domain expertise, and Polygon Labs’ extensive network, in collaborative efforts that span through artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, Web3, and blockchain technologies.
First Hackathon Announcement And Partnership Contributions
The program is expected to announce its first hackathon in early 2024. During the event, participants will develop protocols that use the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem and incorporate Realm Points as important assets. As part of the partnership, AWS has pledged US$1.1 million to support up to 500 startups through cloud resources, exposure to venture capital, technical masterclasses, and extensive go-to-market support.
Polygon Labs has also committed to offering workshops and contributing the cash bounties for hackathons to encourage innovation within the Web3 ecosystem.
