Azuki To Adorn A Real F1 Race Car In Abu Dhabi

Oracle Red Bull Racing, a Formula One racing team, has made F1 history in partnership with Azuki and Bybit developer Chiru Labs. The 2022 season finale in Abu Dhabi will feature an Azuki NFT on the team cars for everyone to see. Moreover, it is the first time in history that a blue-chip NFT has ever been on an F1 race car.

Bybit, Oracle Red Bull Racing, and Azuki have come together to make history by adorning a Formula 1 (F1) car with an Azuki NFT.

Lei The Lightening Azuki NFT

The famed Azuki riding alongside Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez is named Lei the Lightening Azuki (Azuki #8494). The original Azuki from the popular anime-inspired NFT collection designed by lead Azuki artist, Steamboy, incorporates all of ORBR’s values.

Furthermore, Lei’s bold and unique characteristics epitomize the coming together of teams from diverse sectors. Also, Lei’s ability to harness the power of lightning to gain power and speed will be required to make the ORBR team cross the finish line first.

Azuki founder Zagabond said:

“We are excited to announce our partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing and Bybit. Lei the Lightning Azuki reflects the passion, precision, and raw power of Oracle Red Bull Racing. We look forward to telling Lei’s story in the 2023 F1 season.”

Did Anybody Say Free Lei The Lightning Azuki NFTs?

To commemorate the time in F1 history, Steamboy has developed a ‘Lei of the Lightning’ Azuki NFT for the public to claim. In general, the collection of 7,700 NFTs will become a free mint happening on November 20. The exclusive edition collection will be available exclusively via the Bybit NFT marketplace and will get minted on the Tezos blockchain.

Ben Zhou, Bybit’s co-founder and CEO, commented:

“This is a unique piece of artwork and a timeless moment. We anticipate exciting things from this unique collaboration and Lei the Lightning Azuki. He’s such a striking character and a bridge linking the racing, crypto, and NFT communities. We know they are all going to jump at the chance to own a piece of history.”

Furthermore, the Azuki team is preparing all the holders for the Abu Dhabi race with F1 race jackets. The Azuki team has enabled the holders to equip their Azuki characters with the same jacket that Lei the Lightning is wearing. To earn a distinct community badge, holders need to equip the jacket and share it on Twitter. Furthermore, users are reminded not to forget to use the hashtag #AzukiF1.
