On September 21, reports emerged that Kitsumon had confirmed the launch of its Breeding Mainnet. This move shows the considerable progress made by the game project since its testnet announcement back on June 14, 2022, and hundreds of users testing the Gameplay component within this period also, which is currently available.
The Breeding Mainnet enables gamers to have the full capacity to develop “Hybrid Kitsus”, which integrates two Kitsu creature NFTs. These offspring developed inherit genetic elements via Digital DNA technology, offering more than 17 trillion possible outcomes.
Gamers can get their hands on Egg NFTs via Kitsumon’s integrated marketplace. They can then hatch these eggs into Kitsu NFTs via the KitsuDex. In case the players own Infinity Potions, they can use those consumables to develop a Hybrid Kitsu via breeding, which can be bought through the available dedicating potion page.
The development of Kitsus also continues to encourage battles within the eventual MOBA, and more player engagement and revenue generation for the users.
